Coaching Services Policy

1. Purpose of Coaching 

BFAI coaching, mentoring, workshops, and speaking engagements are designed to provide guidance, education, leadership development, empowerment, and support. Coaching is a collaborative process intended to help clients grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. 

 

2. Coaching Is Not Therapy or Professional Advice 

BFAI coaching services are not: 

  • Therapy or mental health counseling 

  • Medical advice or treatment 

  • Legal or financial advice 

  • Crisis intervention 

 

Clients are responsible for seeking licensed professionals for those needs. BFAI may offer referrals but does not provide clinical or professional services. 

 

3. Client Responsibility 

By participating in BFAI coaching or services, the client agrees: 

  • They are voluntarily participating and responsible for their own decisions and actions. 

  • They will communicate honestly and be committed to the coaching process. 

  • They will seek appropriate professional help if needed. 

 

4. No Guarantees of Results 

BFAI does not and cannot guarantee any particular outcome, result, transformation, or level of success. 
Client progress depends on personal effort, commitment, and circumstances. 

 

5. Confidentiality 

BFAI respects client confidentiality. However, confidentiality may be broken if: 

  • Required by law 

  • There is risk of harm to client or others 

  • Abuse or illegal activity is disclosed 

 

Group coaching or workshops: confidentiality cannot be guaranteed due to participation of multiple individuals. 

 

6. Scheduling, Cancellations & No-Shows 

  • Coaching sessions must be scheduled in advance. 

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours before the session. 

  • Missed sessions or late cancellations may be forfeited and are non-refundable. 

  • Prepaid packages are non-refundable once started, except for prorated refunds if canceled 48+ hours before the next session. 

 

7. Payment Policy 

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. 

  • Failure to pay may result in suspension of services. 

 

8. Liability Disclaimer 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the client agrees that: 

  • Participation in BFAI coaching and services is voluntary and at their own risk. 

  • BFAI, its owners, coaches, staff, affiliates, and representatives are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages. 

  • BFAI is not responsible for decisions, actions, outcomes, losses, or changes that result from coaching or services. 

  • Any guidance, strategies, or recommendations provided are for educational and developmental purposes only. 

 

9. Release of Claims 

By using BFAI coaching or services, the client releases and holds harmless BFAI, LLC from any claims, liability, or damages arising from participation. 

 

10. Governing Law 

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
